Hi Mark,

I never knew what happened to Veggie Tales and Big Idea. Now I know, although it was a little painful to read. Phil's story is a great example of how things can get out of control. I'm not sure where Rhema is at in its growth, but it appears you are questioning the changes you are making there and are wondering if they are good ones or not. It's always hard to tell when you are in the thick of change.

On the technology side of things, EqualLogic storage will help you get control of your environment by being easy to administer. But please contact tech support as often as you like for help and or understanding of how to make it work best for you. It doesn't matter what the question is, we want to hear from you and we want you to feel in control.

As for expanses, there is the cost of the system, which might be worrisome to you. The good news is that there aren't going to be hidden add-on costs for software features. Unlike Phil's story where costs for projects tripled over a couple years, your storage costs won't increase unless you outgrow the system you have and you need to add another. Again, that's another reason to call into tech support so you can create a plan to control storage costs. There is a feature called thin provisioning that can help you get more bang for your buck, but you want to understand how to manage it before implementing.

We want to help you feel comfortable and in control of storage and data growth. We can't help you slow down data growth necessarily but we can help you feel a lot better about how you deal with it. We like to think you made a good purchase and we want you to know we stand behind our products with excellent service.
